Carolyn Dawson, CEO, Founders’ Forum Group
Prior to Founders Forum, Carolyn was President at Informa Tech, a FTSE 100 UK company championing specialists in their core markets. Carolyn led a global portfolio of Digital Media, Research, Events and Training across a variety of technology sectors. Carolyn also presided over the joint venture between Founders Forum and Informa Tech, creating new media and event opportunities for the premier community of global entrepreneurs, CEOs and investors.
Carolyn also serves on the board of 01 Founders, a free-to-access coding school; Grip, AI-powered networking solution; and is a member of the UK Government’s Digital Economy Council.
Carolyn is passionate about growing the tech community and ensuring it is open to all, to truly realise the positive impact of technology on our world and empower the next generation of entrepreneurs. She has led London Tech Week for seven years, building its global profile and driving its mission to showcase the very best of technology across the UK. She also spearheaded the global expansion of Tech Festivals to Africa and Asia.
Dan Sheriff, CEO, TXF Media
As Managing Director and Co-founder of TXF, Dan is responsible for the day to day running of the business and overall strategic direction of the company. He has over a decade of experience in content delivery, with the majority of his career covering the trade, commodities, project, ECA and aircraft finance industries.

Katrina commenced her career in the services & BPO sectors, eventually training as a Business Improvement Management Consultant. This passion for transformation led her into first the RPO sector and then into a series of successively larger ‘Head of / Director of Talent Acquisition’ roles in organisations including HCL, RBS and finally Nationwide. At the end of 2018 she took the big step of leaving her corporate role to found Join Talent. Join Talent is now the fastest growing company in the Project RPO sector (embedded recruitment solutions) in EMEA, working with a veritable ‘who’s who’ of innovative scaling businesses. Their team is growing globally – currently spanning 6 countries from which they are servicing clients in tech, product, design, digital, commercial & sales hiring across 16 countries. Katrina won the accolade in 2019 of ‘Recruitment Leader of the Year’ at the UK Recruiter Awards, and is also a finalist in 2021’s Great British Entrepreneur Awards in both the ’Start Up Entrepreneur of the Year’ and Scale Up Entrepreneur of the Year’ categories.
