After a short stint working in recruitment, Katy has spent her 18 year career delivering & marketing high end conferences and events to various finance industries as well as luxury retail brands. Having joined Exile before its official inception, Katy helped develop and establish its brand identity & culture and still to this day, remains its main gatekeeper.

Katy oversees all aspects of marketing, design and communications to ensure Exile customers continue to receive memorable experiences when interacting with the Exile brand – across both events & intelligence.

Piers Bearne, Founder, Collingwood Advisory

Piers is an entrepreneur and investor who has built and sold his own media businesses, and who has worked on M&A for major buyers, both as CEO and consultant.

Piers sold his first exhibition business, Rock Media, to Imago Group in 2006. As CEO of Clarion Conferences, he was involved in the sale of Clarion to VSS in 2008. More recently, he sold Tank World Expo to ArtexisEasyfairs, led the sale of TowerXchange to Euromoney and sold SmartRail World to DVV Media International.

Steve has 20 years of experience spanning the main sectors of the events industry.

He has held senior roles in conference and exhibition companies, meetings and events businesses and experiential agencies. He has extensive international experience, including almost a decade in Asia and seven years in the Middle East, as well as having run events and event businesses across Europe and North America. Steve most recently worked as the EMEA COO at Informa Markets and has also co-founded two start-ups.
